I have offered private sessions, workshops, and weekly groups at the MVWC since 2011. I offer mindfulness-based tools in private sessions to explore life issues and psychological distress and help with medical symptoms. Mindfulness and compassion bring insight into our emotions and thoughts, clarity to life’s inherent conflicts, and skills to navigate every human life’s emotional ups and downs.
For our physical bodies, mindfulness can decrease physical pain, speed healing, help with TBIs, and so much more…Weekly meditation groups are freely offered and open to all. We begin with 30 – 40 minutes of meditation, followed by reflections based on Buddhist and Western psychology, contemplative neuroscience, and the latest research.
I have been practicing meditation and studying with Buddhist monastics, as well as Jon Kabat-Zinn, and lay teachers, for over 30 years. I enjoy sharing my practice and helping others connect with their inner wisdom.
Mindfulness taps into the heart’s natural capacity for healing, love, and wisdom. Based on spiritual teachings and medical research, private sessions are affordable and accessible in Winthrop, Twisp, and telehealth offices.
